CONFINED SPACE

OSHA 1910.146 - permit-required confined spaces
Premier Factory Safety's team has developed confined space permitting programs for many manufacturing companies, both large and small, across a wide range of industries

What is a confined space?

According to OSHA a "confined space" is a space that:

  1. Is large enough and so configured that an employee can bodily enter and perform assigned work; and
  2. Has limited or restricted means for entry or exit (for example, tanks, vessels, silos, storage bins, hoppers, vaults, and pits are spaces that may have limited means of entry.); and
  3. Is not designed for continuous employee occupancy.

Premier's Confined Space System

Premier’s audit team will identify and evaluate all confined spaces as defined by OSHA regulations. Our safety professionals will assist you in developing a customized permit entry system which will provide instructions on the safety requirements to be followed while entering, exiting and working in confined spaces.
